The team is responsible for supporting MSCI’s Market Market Intelligence, enabling high-quality data ingestion, document processing, data extraction workflows, and the delivery of AI-enhanced data outputs to internal and external stakeholders. The team partners closely with Technology, Data Operations, Product, and Client Service to ensure that AI-driven processes are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business needs. We oversee data governance, exception handling, and the management and audit of BMU Data and all related activities ensuring Data and Universe Analytics products are supported by research-quality data.
Support daily operations of the Market Data team by managing document workflows, coordinating data extraction processes, and ensuring timely data delivery to clients
Configure and maintain client setups, GP access credentials, and data environments, ensuring accurate and timely data availability across all deployment models
Oversee the generation of licensed data files tailored to specific client requirements, maintaining quality standards and delivery timelines
Manage documentation of operational procedures, data flows, and client configurations to ensure clarity and consistency across the team
Monitor AI-driven data extraction, enrichment, and classification processes; validate outputs against quality standards and manage exceptions through structured workflows
Assist in training, tuning, and evaluating AI models, ensuring they meet quality benchmarks, transparency requirements, and governance standards
Ensure compliance with data policies, regulatory requirements, and operational controls as AI-assisted processes evolve and scale
Cultivate and maintain deep expertise in private capital data policies, market standards, and data governance practices specific to the sector
Collaborate with R&D, Product, and Operations teams to troubleshoot data pipeline issues, improve end-to-end workflows, and enhance platform performance
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation supporting all data management activities, including runbooks, data policies, workflow diagrams, and training materials for team enablement
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (data science, computer science, finance, engineering, or similar).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data operations, data management, document processing, or a related financial services role.
Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, including model outputs, data validation, and supervised training processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage exceptions and make judgment-based decisions that AI cannot automate.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support client-related configuration, troubleshooting, and data delivery.
Knowledge of private capital data, or other investment operations datasets is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, especially when overseeing AI-assisted processes and ensuring data accuracy.
