You will be well suited to this role if you have:

  • Professional experience developing production-quality software with Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow or a comparable workflow-orchestration platform.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized applications.

  • Experience using Git and Azure DevOps, including repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, code quality, versioning, troubleshooting, and observability.
  • Experience working with at least one major cloud platform; Azure or GCP experience is valuable.
  • The ability to understand complex existing systems and make sound engineering decisions in a production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to incident investigation.
  • The ability to work effectively with distributed teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of solutions from design through production support.
  • Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity while applying appropriate human review and engineering judgment.

Experience with data platforms, APIs, event-driven systems, infrastructure-as-code, security practices, or financial-services technology would be an advantage.
