Your Team Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and testing of compensation processes within the Workday HCM platform, ensuring accurate data flow and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide system maintenance and troubleshooting for compensation systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning seamlessly.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather system requirements, analyze business needs, and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Manage the advanced compensation processes, including merit cycles, bonus plans, stock options, and other compensation programs, ensuring proper setup in Workday.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting within Workday, providing meaningful insights on compensation trends, benefits utilization, and program performance.
  • Support Workday system upgrades and releases, ensuring the compensation module is properly tested and aligned with the latest features.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday Advanced Compensation, providing training and support to users across the organization.
  • Ensure data integrity and perform regular audits to verify the accuracy of compensation data within Workday.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • System Configuration and Optimization: Configure and maintain the Workday system for advanced compensation, ensuring they are aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and run reports to monitor compensation and benefits data, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and Payroll teams to align Workday configurations with evolving business requirements and compliance standards.
  • Testing and Documentation: Participate in functional testing of new system functionality and document processes for future reference and training.
  • User Training and Support: Provide training and end-user support for Workday compensation and benefits modules, ensuring stakeholders are well-equipped to use the system effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively recommend process improvements and system optimizations to streamline workflows and improve system performance.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure compensation and benefits data within Workday meets compliance standards and organizational policies, performing audits as necessary.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Workday Expertise: In-depth experience with Workday HCM, specifically Advanced Compensation  (including compensation cycles, bonus plans, stock options, etc).
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Workday report writing, data transformation, and integrations with external systems.
  • Compensation and Benefits Knowledge: Solid understanding of compensation structures (base pay, bonuses, equity, etc.), with the ability to configure and troubleshoot within Workday.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues quickly.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on data integrity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and manage projects within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with HRIS systems: Prior experience in implementing or supporting HRIS systems, particularly in compensation and benefits areas, is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
