Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI is seeking a senior Talent Acquisition specialist to lead Technology Recruiting across our India offices. This Vice President will lead a team of three recruiters and partner closely with Engineering, Data, Product and Technology leadership to deliver high-impact hiring strategies aligned to MSCI’s long-term innovation agenda.

 

This role combines hands-on recruiting leadership with strategic workforce partnership. The successful candidate will build scalable recruiting practices, leverage market intelligence to guide decision-making, and strengthen MSCI’s position as an employer of choice within India’s competitive technology market.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for a diverse portfolio of technology roles including software engineering, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, cybersecurity, DevOps and enterprise technology.
  • Translate business roadmaps into structured hiring plans that balance urgency, quality and long-term workforce sustainability across MSCI’s four India offices.
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of three technology recruiters, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Hire from multiple candidate sources including Alumni, Internal Talent, CRM and passive talent.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior technology leaders, providing insight on talent availability, compensation trends and competitive market dynamics.
  • Drive structured market mapping and proactive talent pipelining to support current and future workforce needs.
  • Maintain rigorous oversight of recruiting pipelines, reporting and forecasting, ensuring transparency and data integrity.
  • Lead offer strategy and negotiations in partnership with Compensation and HR Business Partners, ensuring alignment with internal frameworks and governance standards.
  • Partner with our global Employer Brand team to help execute targeted talent attraction initiatives that enhance our competitive positioning in key technology talent pools.Identify and implement process enhancements to improve recruiting productivity and scalability, including responsible adoption of AI and emerging recruitment technologies.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology recruiting, including experience leading recruiting teams.
  • Demonstrated success hiring across multiple technical disciplines in competitive talent markets.
  • Strong track record of partnering with senior business leaders in fast-paced, global or matrixed environments.
  • Ability to leverage recruiting analytics and market data to inform strategy and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience building scalable recruiting processes across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in financial services, fintech, SaaS, analytics or global enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience operating within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with advanced sourcing technologies and AI-enabled recruiting tools.
