Your Team Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Are you smart, motivated, and passionate about IT Infrastructure, Applications and Operations? MSCI is seeking a smart, enthusiastic & hands-on IT operations team member.

 

  Scope of Responsibility /Expectation:

  • Monitoring & management of alerts, events via relevant monitoring & ticketing tools 
  • Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for On-prem and cloud platform issues 
  • Provide level 1 & Level 2 technical support for applications on On-prem & cloud-based systems. 
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and outages with infrastructure, Application management and Client coverage teams. 
  • Identify key areas for automation and optimization to enhance productivity 
  • Identify opportunities for optimizing performance and provide suggestions for development. 
  • Should have exposure handling major incidents and escalations 
  • Creating Dashboards & automation of existing BAU work
  • Performing assigned incident and change management tasks
  • Escalating higher priority incidents to relevant teams
  • Mobilizing technical resources during conference calls

Your Key Responsibilities

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Skills:

  • Minimum 3 year of experience in any of the skills – Shell, Python, PowerShell scripting, Power BI reporting, Azure functions, CI/CD & Power automate.
  • Monitoring & management of alerts, events via relevant monitoring & ticketing tools 
  • Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for On-prem and cloud platform issues 
  • Provide Level 1 & Level2 technical support for applications on On-prem & cloud-based systems. 
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and outages with infrastructure, Application management and Client Coverage teams. 
  • Identify key areas for automation and optimization to enhance productivity 
  • Identify opportunities for optimizing performance and provide suggestions for development. 
  • Build AI Automation to help operations and support activities.
  • Should have exposure handling major incidents and escalations
  • Creating Dashboards & automation of existing BAU work
  • Automation of manual tasks.

 

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, Computer Science, Engineering or other similar concentration (BE/MCA)
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • 3+ years of overall experience working in 24 X 7 IT infrastructure, Application & Operations environment 
  • Strong knowledge of Unix Administration.
  • Worked upon any of the cloud platforms – GCP/Azure/AWS is nice to have.
