The Client Reporting Team – Managed Solutions is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Tenured Associate to lead AI-driven automation, agentic workflows, investment analytics initiatives, and custom reporting solution delivery. This role requires strong AI engineering capability, good understanding of investment/risk analytics, and full ownership of solution development across both AI and enterprise reporting domains.

This role requires a strong combination of AI engineering, LLM system design, automation architecture, and investment analytics domain knowledge, with a demonstrated track record of end-to-end ownership of AI/LLM solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain RAG pipelines, multi-step reasoning workflows, and agentic automation systems for reporting and analytics use cases.

  • Fine-tune, adapt, or optimize LLMs for domain-specific workflows related to reporting, validation, data processing, and automation.

  • Python-based development of automation services, analytical workflows, validation engines, and reporting logic using pandas, NumPy and distributed processing using pyspark

  • Integrate AI and automation capabilities with enterprise systems such as Snowflake, Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence, reporting engine and internal MSCI APIs.

  • Design scalable microservices, event-driven components, and cloud-native automation pipelines.

  • Prototype advanced AI concepts (LLM orchestration, multi-agent systems, chain-of-thought workflows, MCP-based integration) and convert them into production-ready solutions.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex data, performance, and system issues across reporting pipelines and automated solutions.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Implementation Managers, Operations, and Client Coverage to deliver platform enhancements and AI-driven capabilities end-to-end.

  • Mentor junior analysts and engineers, and help establish best practices for AI engineering, automation, and reporting workflow design.

  • Play a dual role to support “run the business” operations by delivering custom client reports and reporting solutions using MSCI’s proprietary reporting tools and PDF report design using OpenText.

  • Translate investment and risk analytics client reporting requirements into detailed reporting specifications for development and delivery.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Strong understanding of LLM architectures, RAG systems, embeddings, vector databases, and multi-agent reasoning patterns and orchestrating agentic AI systems

  • Experience (or ability to learn quickly) with OpenText report design tools and XML-based MSCI proprietary reporting systems (training will be provided). Any previous reporting tool experince is preferred.

  • Ability to independently architect and deliver complex automation or analytical pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or equivalent orchestration/agentic frameworks.

  • Experience integrating AI services with enterprise data systems or workflow tools.

  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, DevOps automation, and cloud-native architectures.
