Your Team Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our Client Data Management unit, where we focus on client portfolio data onboarding and processing. Our team is building AI-powered agentic workflow solutions to streamline how investment portfolio data is ingested, validated, transformed, and made ready for analysis.

This role will give you the opportunity to apply modern software engineering and AI techniques to tackle some of the most pressing data management challenges in investment analytics — from automating data quality checks to orchestrating workflows that handle large, complex datasets across multiple sources.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI-driven workflows that automate and optimize the onboarding and processing of investment portfolio data.
  • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and workflow orchestration systems using Python and Node.js.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, financial data analysts, and product managers to integrate AI models into production workflows for data validation, enrichment, and transformation.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of systems managing large volumes of financial and investment data.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and automated testing for workflow reliability and auditability.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI/ML tools and approaches for financial data management use cases.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Specific Knowledge/Skills

  • 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js, with hands-on experience building distributed systems, APIs, and integrations.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience working with cloud-native architectures (Azure knowledge is a plus).
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, Temporal, LangChain, or similar).
  • Experience with structured financial data, preferably portfolio, holdings, or reference datasets.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team of engineers, data experts, and business stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Programming or similar subject

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

  • Experience integrating with large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.).
  • Experience applying AI/ML techniques to problems in data onboarding, validation, or enrichment.
  • Familiarity with investment portfolio data structures, securities identifiers, and market data integration.
  • Background in event-driven architectures and asynchronous data processing.
  • Exposure to compliance, security, and audit requirements in financial data systems.
  • Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or investment analytics environments.
