Your Team Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior IDMC Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Informatica MDM. The role will focus on designing, developing, and delivering scalable data integration and MDM solutions to support enterprise reference data, master data, and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep technical skills in IDMC services (IICS, MDM SaaS, Data Quality, API/Integration Services), and exposure to Collibra will be considered a strong advantage.

Your Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

  • Design, build, and maintain IDMC (IICS) pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Develop and configure Informatica MDM (on-prem or SaaS) solutions including data modeling, match/merge, survivorship, and hierarchy management.
  • Implement data quality and profiling solutions using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) within IDMC.
  • Create and manage API and Application Integration services in IDMC for real-time and batch data flows.
  • Optimize data pipelines for scalability, performance, and reliability.

Integration & Governance

  • Integrate MDM/IDMC solutions with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data warehouses, and BI tools.
  • Work with data stewards and governance teams to embed reference data standards and validation rules into IDMC solutions.
  • Leverage Collibra (advantage) for metadata, lineage, and stewardship workflows to enhance governance alignment.

Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide production support, troubleshoot data integration and MDM issues, and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Maintain technical documentation including design specs, mappings, workflows, and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to align IDMC solutions with the enterprise data strategy.
  • Mentor junior developers, sharing best practices in IDMC/MDM delivery.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in data integration and MDM development, with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica IDMC/IICS.
  • Deep understanding of Informatica MDM Hub (match/merge, survivorship, hierarchy management) and MDM SaaS capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data integration, ETL design, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery) and modern data architectures.
  • Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles; Collibra experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, performance tuning, and debugging skills.

Added Advantage

  • Hands-on experience with Collibra for metadata management, cataloging, and governance workflows.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for IDMC deployments.
  • Exposure to data security and compliance frameworks (GDPR, BCBS 239, etc.).
