Your Team Responsibilities

Project & Portfolio Financial Governance

  • Oversee project creation, updates, and closure within CA-PPM/Clarity.
  • Manage CapEx/OpEx classification and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
  • Facilitate submission, validation, and approval of capitalization forms.
  • Track financial performance (forecast vs. actuals, CapEx variance, etc.).

Resource Allocation & Time Management

  • Collect and validate monthly resource allocation data from TPMs and Leads.
  • Ensure alignment of allocations across CA-PPM, Jira, and financial reporting systems.
  • Manage monthly time booking process, including automation of intake forms and reminders.
  • Adjust for non-billable hours (vacations, training, etc.) to ensure accurate time postings.

Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Develop and maintain dashboards for:
    • Resource utilization & allocations
    • CapEx/OpEx variance
    • Project financials and prioritization
  • Provide executive-level summaries and insights for leadership decision-making.
  • Drive adoption of standardized reporting frameworks (e.g., PRDT-level allocations, ProdFocus mapping).

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Automate repetitive processes (e.g., allocation file generation, intake form follow-ups).
  • Enhance efficiency in data collection, validation, and reporting cycles.
  • Partner with Technology/PPM teams to align systems (CA-PPM/Clarity ↔ Jira).

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify risks in allocation, reporting, and governance processes.
  • Provide timely escalations and mitigation plans (e.g., resource gaps, delayed sign-offs).
  • Ensure transparency and accountability in financial project reporting.

Stakeholder Engagement & Support

  • Act as the bridge between Finance, TPMs, Accounting, and Technology teams.
  • Support TPMs and business leads with allocation, reporting, and governance queries.
  • Align with leadership on priorities, open issues, and process changes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Dashboard & Report Development

    • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support FPMO, Finance, and leadership.

    • Develop visualizations for project allocations, CapEx/OpEx variance, non-billable tracking, and monthly time booking.

  • Data Integration & Modeling

    • Connect, clean, and transform data from multiple systems (e.g., CA-PPM/Clarity, Jira, Excel intake forms).

    • Build robust data models that ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting.

  • Automation & Process Improvement

    • Develop automated solutions for recurring processes (e.g., intake form reminders, allocation file generation).

    • Reduce manual intervention by leveraging Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and related tools.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

    • Partner with TPMs, Finance, and business leads to gather requirements and refine reporting outputs.

    • Ensure alignment of dashboards with evolving business processes (e.g., PRDT-level allocations, ProdFocus mapping).

    • Provide training and guidance to users on dashboard interpretation and usage.

  • Governance & Risk Management

    • Ensure compliance with reporting standards and data governance practices.

    • Validate and troubleshoot data inconsistencies to maintain high-quality reporting outputs.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role (3–5+ years).

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL.

  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and integrating multiple data sources (Excel, Jira, Clarity, etc.).

  • Understanding of financial reporting, project governance, and resource allocation is highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
