Your Team Responsibilities

We are seeking a Client Consultant for Real Assets to drive client adoption, engagement, and business growth across our global client base. The CSM will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients realize maximum value from MSCI’s Real Assets solutions while proactively identifying opportunities for account expansion.

This role goes beyond traditional onboarding and training: the Consultant will go high and wide within client organizations, building strong relationships at multiple levels, uncovering new users and use cases, and collaborating closely with Relationship Managers to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities across MSCI’s suite of Real Assets products and the broader MSCI portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Client Adoption & Value Realization
    • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of Real Assets solutions.

    • Develop tailored engagement plans to align client goals with product capabilities.

    • Monitor client usage, proactively address adoption challenges, and measure business outcomes.

  • Account Expansion

    • Map client organizations to identify new stakeholders, user groups, and decision makers.

    • Expand penetration within accounts by uncovering additional use cases for Real Assets solutions.

    • Partner with Relationship Managers to generate upsell and cross-sell opportunities, driving revenue growth across MSCI’s broader portfolio.

  • Trusted Client Partnerships

    • Serve as the primary advocate for clients within MSCI, ensuring their needs are represented.

    • Build long-term, strategic relationships across multiple levels of the client organization.

    • Deliver insights on global real estate and infrastructure market trends and best practices for leveraging Real Assets data and analytics.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork

    • Work closely with Relationship Managers, Product Specialists, and Marketing to support account strategies.

    • Provide client feedback to Product and Research teams to inform innovation and development.

    • Contribute to thought leadership and client education initiatives.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Client Services, ideally in financial data, analytics, or real assets markets (real estate, infrastructure, private markets).

  • Strong track record of driving client adoption, growth, and satisfaction.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior-level client relationships and navigate complex organizations.

  • Proven success in identifying and executing upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Bilingual (English) strongly preferred.
