Your Team Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead the design of innovative experiences for the GP Solutions segment within MSCI’s Private Assets business. In this role, you’ll own the full product life cycle, working closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive and forward-looking experiences. This is a unique opportunity to shape next-generation solutions, including AI-led product design and experiences, that transform how users interact with Private Assets. You’ll balance hands-on design execution with strategic leadership, ensuring that every release is user-centered, visually compelling, and built for impact. 

Your Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead end-to-end product design lifecycle from discovery and ideation through delivery and iteration, ensuring cohesive user experiences across Private Assets products. 
  • Design innovative and intuitive interaction models for Generative AI features, focusing on clarity, transparency, control, usability and overall end-user experience; explore AI-assisted creation workflows. 
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, business leaders and the wider UX design team to define requirements, establish priorities, and translate complex needs into elegant solutions. 
  • Drive multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines while ensuring high-quality outcomes. 
  • Deliver polished UI and UX assets, including dashboards, data visualizations, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs. 
  • Collaborate in agile sprints, supporting implementation with detailed design specs and guidance. 
  • Champion the voice of the user, advocating for intuitive, accessible, and engaging product experiences. 
  • Contribute to design standards and best practices that elevate the overall product design system. 

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience and demonstrable knowledge applying User Centered Design methodologies with strong emphasis on complex product design (experience designing for AI-related products is a significant advantage)  
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred 
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Mural; experience leveraging AI tools such as Figma Make and Lovable in product design; background working in an Agile design/development environment. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing strong UI skills, design process, problem-solving skills and user-centered approach.
