Your Team Responsibilities

We are looking for two talented interns to join our expert team of carbon market analysts in the London office. The roles are to start as soon as possible and complete by end of the year. As well as working with some of the leading experts in carbon markets, you will be part of a broader team of analysts focussed on all aspects of climate finance.

Your Key Responsibilities

The main area of work will be to deepen our data products in compliance emissions markets across the world, building links to our existing high-quality products in global carbon credit markets. The work will need involve a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis.

  • To be successful in this role you will be driven, a creative thinker and intellectually curious. You will comfortable collating and managing data in several formats, be able to effectively manage your own time and be capable of communicating complex issues to colleagues and senior level audiences.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Strong academic track record, in relevant field linked to climate, sustainability. Knowledge of carbon markets would be an advantage but not essential..
  • Proficient in Excel. Some experience in SQL, PowerBI and/or Python a bonus.
  • Ability to extract insights and communicate complex issues to senior-level audiences.
  • Intellectually curious, with existing knowledge or a proven ability to quickly learn about carbon markets.
  • Demonstrable enthusiasm for addressing climate change in the corporate sector.
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Media/Journalism, Environmental Studies, Climate Change, Geography, or a related field.
