Your Team Responsibilities

  • Support the Wealth Segment leadership team with developing and executing the strategy for the Wealth client segment via collaborative efforts across MSCI ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and have helped shape
  • Support product and commercial development by working across all product lines and functional areas such as Client Coverage, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Corporate Strategy, Research, and Technology.
  • Ensure client centricity powers all internal efforts and shines through externally to clients raising our relevance in the client segment and their confidence in us.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • This role will focus on the MSCI Wealth business in the EMEA
  • Support the Wealth Segment leadership team by acting as the key client segment relationship manager working across all functional areas to grow our business with Wealth Managers and broader Wealth ecosystem that includes Asset Managers distributing into Wealth and platforms.
  • Work with the Coverage, Pre-Sales and Product functions to identify regional nuances and product gaps, provide Wealth Segment leadership with insights and work across MSCI product lines to ensure product prioritisation is aligned with client demand.. Additionally, the role holder will act as a product champion to ensure Coverage and Pre-Sales functions are continually kept up-to-date on the evolution of the MSCI product offering for Wealth Managers.
  • Work closely with Coverage on client targeting, client engagement including product demos, and overall mobilizing of sales efforts via a highly effective and organised consultative sales process
  • Help drive the research agenda with new ideas and topics and strengthen our thought leadership in Wealth
  • Develop training material to help expand knowledge of the Wealth Segment across MSCI functions
  • Support the development of regional specific marketing plans helping us raise our relevance in the Wealth market for the EMEA region
  • Support the Development of the segment strategy and participate in senior level meetings to present strategy, business updates, and obtain feedback on overall plan
  • Identify and help onboard appropriate partners and grow relationships across the WealthTech space

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  1. As a prerequisite, the successful candidate will be widely considered an expert within Wealth Management, having a minimum 10 years’ Wealth experience and hence an in-depth understanding of the Wealth Management sector. Although may have a background from a Wealth Management or report under the CIO, perhaps with a focus on asset allocation and/or risk, most likely she/he will not have spent their entire career making investment decisions. More likely she/he has undertaken multiple different senior roles within Wealth and thoroughly understands not just the inner workings of a Wealth Manager but how Wealth fits into the broader FS ecosystem.
  2. Although not necessarily a quant, she/he will have strong technical, multi-asset class experience and ideally a deep understanding of quantitative analytics tools, indexes and ESG.
  3. Extensive experience in product and general management with a balance of product creation and commercial realization, i.e. building businesses through identifying market opportunities, developing products and executing on business strategy.
  4. Proven track record of being instrumental in the development of a successful global Wealth Management business.
  5. Large network within the Wealth space and the ability to build new relationships to position MSCI for growth in this area.
  6. Experience with applying consulting techniques to solve client complexity relating to target state architecture and operating model design as it relates to Wealth Technology.
  7. Private Assets experience is nice to have.
