Your Team Responsibilities

As part of a collaborative client coverage team, the individual works cross-functionally with sales, ESG, and support teams to ensure a seamless and responsive client experience. The team jointly manages a portfolio of accounts, coordinating to address client inquiries promptly, resolve issues efficiently, and deliver consistent messaging. Together, they work to expand MSCI’s footprint within client organizations by integrating multiple product lines, enhancing client reliance on MSCI solutions. The team also plays a critical role in bridging client feedback with internal product and research teams, driving both short-term client satisfaction and long-term product innovation. This cohesive effort ensures that MSCI maintains its position as a strategic partner and primary solution provider for clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role is expected to be a subject matter expert in MSCI’s portfolio and risk management analytics, and provide tailored support to clients across asset classes. They are responsible for proactively engaging with clients to deliver best-in-class training, analytics support, and product education that drives deeper usage of MSCI’s proprietary tools. This includes identifying client-specific needs, aligning solutions with business goals, and communicating product roadmaps in a way that highlights direct client value. The consultant must monitor client engagement to identify risks to retention, uncover upsell opportunities, and ensure a smooth renewal process. They also serve as a trusted advisor by translating complex methodologies into actionable insights, producing content and presenting at workshops, webinars, and one-on-one sessions tailored to different stakeholders and use cases.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
  • 10-15 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required preferably with a finance/economics/mathematics/engineering/ quantitative background
  • Master’s Degree in a business or quantitative field preferred
  •  Professional qualifications such as CFA charter holder, FRM (Financial Risk Manager) a plus
  • Very strong analytic and quantitative skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Client relationship management experience with a proven record of accomplishment and experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work individually or within a team
  • Someone who enjoys intellectual and analytical challenges, and who views teaching financial concepts an exciting challenge
