Your Team Responsibilities

The PCS Inside Sales Associate is a member of the PCS Client Coverage team whose primary responsibilities are to support our PCS Sales Specialists in their sales efforts, asssit with client inquiries and prospecting for new clients.  Individuals in an MSCI Inside Sales position are also responsible for facilitating the sales process and educating clients/prospects on MSCI products.

The role also demands a consummate relationship builder, both internally and externally, to help drive sales and achieve revenue targets. The individual will work very closely with several groups of the MSCI organization, including Sales Specialists, Client Service, Marketing, Legal, Finance and Product Management. 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new account penetration, prospecting, qualification, initiate opportunities, setting up meetings and execute on sales strategy.
  • Expand existing client base by uncovering investment needs and presenting solutions.
  • Pre-sales activities and coordination of internal sales processes.
  • Work with marketing to conduct market analysis, competitor research, prospect research to execute product conversions.
  • Role maintains small target in alignment with PCS Sales Specialist’s sales goals.
  • Set-up and participate in prospective client and current client discussions regarding latest improvements or additions to product suite.
  • Answer detailed client inquiries about MSCI PCS products.
  • Assist a clients with any due diligence.
  • Assist marketing with campaign tracking and reporting of key metrics.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Undergraduate degree with a preference of an MBA
  • Organized and process oriented
  • Attention to detail
  • Exposure to the SalesForce platform preferred
  • Experience in cold calling and prospecting preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of the investment management, bank, broker dealer and wealth management organization including sources of revenue and regulations effecting their business
