Your Team Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW – Senior Associate
 
Role & Responsibilities
-
Build a high-performing team by recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and continuously developing talent.
-
Manage staff and functional activities to achieve team goals aligned with organizational objectives.
-
Ensure productivity, data quality, and SLA compliance through rigorous performance oversight
-
Evaluate and implement industry leading QA practices on both data and content, re-engineer quality assurance and quality control processes including working on effectively tracking and reporting quality improvements.
-
Undertake projects to improve the data workflow, QA processes, Vendor data onboarding and ensure that these are executed in line with the transformation program
-
Evaluate re-engineering opportunities by analyzing existing processes and systematically identify manual/off-system tasks and processes bottlenecks, create process maps as specifications for BA/IT and drive them.
-
Lead the data transformation working the Data Operations teams in Manila/Mumbai & collaboration with BA/Project Management, Technology & Data Science teams.

Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify anomalies, report data trends and patterns.

Participate and shape discussions on scaling & transforming operations, process changes, business priorities and client expectations
-
Identify opportunities of leveraging ML/NLP for unstructured data extraction, quality enhancement
-
Lead projects involving new data onboarding and ensure all new data sourcing is in-line with data transformation agenda
-
Drive strategic planning and goal setting while fostering upskilling and career growth opportunities for the team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • People Management:
    • Focus on training pool of Juniors, and setting up of team workflows, process to detect data quality issues, metrics and KPIs.
    • Consistent touch on Team members progress and helping team to acquire right level of trainings and skills.
    • Develop Training plan and module that helps training new joiners and backfills.
  • Delivery:
    • Deliver quality assured data (financial/non-financial) as per agreed daily SLAs
    • Work with internal stakeholders and downstream teams on meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) on data Quality Assurance (accuracy, completeness, and timeliness).
    • Create and implement the appropriate metrics on deliverables to the stakeholders and always ensure the agreed SLA is met.
  • Process Improvement:

 

  • Create new process metrics, KPI and scorecard.
  • Can independently manage the deliverables and stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Lead team Quality improvements by analyzing existing process and focus on areas for improvement, automation applying Lean Six Sigma, Balanced Scorecard, and other TQM approaches.
  • Focused on process improvements including elimination of redundancies, brainstorming the process improvements ideas and partner with the engineering teams to improvise the current state of work.
  • Work schedules is in India time zone could extend into EMEA hours for meetings
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented environment across hierarchies, functions and geographies
  • Ability to communicate with various internal and external parties globally.
  • Intent in automation and carry supporting skills like advanced excel knowledge, building dashboard using PowerBI, and automation through Jupyter/Python notebooks etc.
  • Have high interests to learn new things and willingness to take and deliver challenging work.

 

Good to have:

  • Have sound knowledge on capital markets and functioning of the markets (Exposure to various financial products like Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Commodities, Corporate actions etc.)
  • Knowledge about Financial Statements like Annual reports, Income statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow statement

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Necessary skills and qualifications:
-
10+ years of experience in Operations/Team Management, Process Optimization, Project & Change Management.
-
5+ years of people management experience, including leading teams and driving performance.
-
Analytical skills and strong attention to details - Should have keen interest in analyzing data, process flows and quality focused
-
It is an added advantage for the exposure of using tools such as Python/SQL etc. - Demonstrated experience in improving process/Automation through applications of Python/ML/RPA or showing interest in learning and scale.
-
Should have very good hands-on skills working with advanced excel features and exposure to visualization tools such as PowerBI would be an advantage.
-
Self-starter and self-motivated, must be solutions focused and could work in unstructured environments
-
Comfortable working in a team environment across hierarchies, functions and geographies
-
Should have experience of working in Financial/technology/Business Analysis domain
-
Strong financial services knowledge and experience; good to have exposure to ESG, Private Assets would be added advantage
