Your Team Responsibilities

The EMEA Analytics team is responsible for the long-term sustainable net new growth of the analytics business in the region. The team focuses on executing systematically on the entire go-to-market of key initiatives of the analytics strategy, and ensures that these meet the needs and regulatory requirements of the clients in the region. The acts as a liaison between coverage and core product function to support product rollout and lifecycle while also relaying back client feedback and embed this in the product vision.        

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as the key counterpart to coverage. Works through product managers and analytics operations on technical and non technical maters 
  • Contributes to product vision 
  • Develops sales and client strategies (with Coverage and Marketing): Campaigns, pitches, exceptional renewals, competitive positioning, messaging formation and execution, deal structures, and maps global strategy to local conditions and provides feedback on local conditions to product management 
  • Drives product rollouts by owning regional product pricing, working closely with the product managers on the product roadmap, and liaising with the marketing organization 
  • Supports management of client relationships. Responsible for client risk management 
  • Acts as a liaison between coverage and product

  • Good understanding of the risk management and/or portfolio management business 
  • Deep business acumen and experience  
  • Inquisitive client-centric mind 
  • Self-driven to push the business objectives through the organization with limited supervision 
  • Has the building blocks to gain instant credibility and respect from the Executive Committee, peers in the Business Management Unit (BMU), Client Coverage and Global Marketing teams 
  • Is as comfortable in the board-room as he/she is in the trenches 
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing business and organizational environment 
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to be effective in a shared services structure 
  • A leader who can bridge people across a global cross-functional organization 
  • Ability to represent MSCI at the highest level
