Your Team Responsibilities

The Index Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategy and campaigns to support MSCI’s ambitious Index business growth objectives. The marketing organization at MSCI is a dynamic and fast-growing global function responsible for marketing and communicating our solutions and services to the world’s investors to help them build better portfolios.

As a leading provider of data and tools, we continue to grow our global footprint with institutional investors, asset/wealth managers, banks, hedge funds, pension funds, advisors, and corporations.

Your Key Responsibilities

Position Overview 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Index Marketing Associate to support the strategic promotion of MSCI’s index solutions through marketing campaign management, content development, and project execution. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, experience managing integrated campaigns, and an interest in financial products and data. 

You will collaborate with a global, cross-functional team, including product marketing, digital, and creative colleagues, to develop and deliver impactful campaigns that communicate the value of MSCI’s index offerings to institutional clients and other key stakeholders. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

- Support and manage integrated marketing campaigns that support the promotion of MSCI’s index products. 

- Coordinate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of campaign assets. 

- Manage multiple concurrent projects, maintaining clarity on deadlines, responsibilities, and priorities. 

- Produce and oversee content including email communications, landing pages, digital assets, social media posts, and collateral. 

- Align campaign messaging with product strategy and ensure consistency across all marketing channels. 

- Collaborate with digital and creative teams to execute online marketing tactics including web, SEO, and paid media. 

- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools, offering insights and data-driven recommendations. 

- Ensure compliance with brand, legal, and regulatory standards for all public-facing content. 

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Desired Skills and Experience 

- 2–4 years of experience in marketing campaign management, project coordination, or content marketing, preferably in financial services, fintech, or data/analytics sectors. 

- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills. 

- Experience working with or across global teams is highly preferred. 

- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal. 

- Proficiency with marketing platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, CMS tools, and analytics dashboards. 

- Capability to create and adapt content for digital formats and diverse audiences. 

- Interest in financial markets and indexing preferred. 

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
