Your Team Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic manager to join our Program Management team to drive excellence in MSCI’s operational tooling. This role will play a critical part in enabling execution excellence across MSCI’s complex portfolio of programs by optimizing operational processes, designing scalable reporting capabilities, and driving strategic initiatives that improve delivery velocity and client outcomes.

The ideal candidate is both highly analytical and operationally savvy, capable of bridging data, technology, and business strategy. They will collaborate closely with Program Managers, Product Managers, Technology & Operations, and MSCI leadership to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability across global initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of advanced Power BI dashboards that provide real-time insights into the health and progress of strategic programs and projects across MSCI.
  • Analyze, design, develop and implement new KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks that measure delivery performance, resource utilization, and value realization.
  • Evaluate and enhance current program management and cross-functional execution processes, identifying opportunities for greater speed, collaboration, and impact.
  • Provide ongoing support to Program Managers, Product Managers, Engineering, Data, R&D and Marketing by equipping them with data, tools, and insights that improve day-to-day program execution and decision-making.
  • Partner with Program Management leadership to drive strategic initiatives, operational reviews, and change management efforts across business lines.
  • Ensure alignment and transparency across cross-functional workstreams through effective use of Jira, Confluence, and collaboration tools.
  • Own the integrity and usability of program data through governance, automation, and documentation best practices.
  • Analyze and synthesize complex data into clear, actionable presentations and executive-level reporting using PowerPoint and storytelling techniques.
  • Serve as a champion of design thinking and user-centered reporting experiences for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to automate recurring reporting and communication flows using Power Automate or similar tools.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence capabilities wherever possible to scale and accelerate operational efforts

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 8+ years of experience in program operations, program management, or related roles in a technology, financial services, or product-driven environment.
  • Deep expertise in Power BI, Power Automate, Jira Align and advanced data visualization (a must). 
  • Strong proficiency in Jira and Confluence administration and business analysis, including custom reporting and automation.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and scaling Jira Align to support enterprise-level program and portfolio management. This is a required skill for the role. 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint with a proven ability to create high-quality presentations for an executive audience
  • Demonstrated application of design thinking principles to internal tools, processes, or reporting.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to synthesize cross-functional program data into strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hybrid program governance models.
  • Experience managing cross-functional portfolios in a global, matrixed organization is a strong plus.
