Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI, Inc seeks Associate Investment Consultant Sales Specialist in New York, NY to educate potential clients about Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investment trends and how MSCI can enable investors to build ESG capabilities through our market leading ESG Research, Index, and Analytics solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

Consistently meet and exceed sales and business objectives. Identify opportunities and close sales to new prospects. Work with the wider sales group to achieve cross-segment opportunities and synergies from information sharing and collaboration. Communicate suggestions to improve, customize, or create new products and solutions. Gather and share industry trends and competitive intelligence to senior management. Grow network and attend relevant industry events.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: working in data or research outbound roles, in Fintech or financial services; utilizing experience with capital markets and finance including the investment process, markets, and risk; prospecting within asset owner and consultant ecosystem; working with Salesforce; utilizing Excel to verify data and demonstrate calculations; utilizing experience with financial industry dynamics and economic terms, including asset classes, business cycles, and roles of industry participants (buy-side, sell-side, and institutional vs wealth) to demonstrate how investors use data for decision making; working with sales cycle and client service including liaising with external and internal stakeholders; and distinguishing risk versus return concepts in investing context and communicating to stakeholders. Up to 50% travel required nationally/internationally. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.

 

SALARY & WORK SCHEDULE: $115,731 to $135,000/year, 40 hrs/wk
