Your Team Responsibilities

As part of the Client Service organization, the Vendor Team plays a critical role in managing and strengthening relationships with key external data providers. This role ensures high-quality service delivery and operational excellence across vendor-related activities in the Americas region:

 

1. Take ownership of escalated vendor inquiries during U.S. market hours, ensuring critical global cases are resolved within regional timeframes.

 

2. Maintain ownership of vendor-related cases based in the Americas, ensuring efficient resolution through collaboration with global vendor teams and client service desks to uphold service-level standards.

 

3. Collect vendor feedback on new products to assess readiness and estimated processing time, providing insights that support realistic go-to-market planning.

 

4. Facilitate regular engagements with key vendors to address ongoing issues, monitor client query trends, and share product updates, fostering transparency and long-term partnerships.

Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Act as a consultant in all vendor-related queries from internal teams: coverage, index production, PDM, etc.
  • Maintain daily oversight of Bloomberg ticker creation for both custom and standard indexes, ensuring accurate representation and accessibility across Bloomberg platforms.
  • Lead coordination with strategic vendor partners to ensure the timely and accurate launch of new products and ETPs, minimizing time to market and enhancing brand visibility across key distribution channels.
  • Maintain daily oversight of Bloomberg ticker creation for both custom and standard indexes, ensuring accurate representation and accessibility across platforms.
  • Gain insight into new projects, enhancements, or limitations from the vendors.
  • Document vendor team processes in an effort to standardize them as much as possible to avoid the knowledge loss when turn over occur.
