Your Team Responsibilities

Based in London, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption and integration of MSCI’s index solutions within the Asset Owner segment. You will drive both the expansion into new accounts and the proactive management and growth of existing client relationships.

 

You will take a consultative approach, working closely with clients to understand their investment policies, objectives and long-term goals. By aligning MSCI’s index offerings and research with their needs, you’ll deliver meaningful value.

 

In this role, you will focus on two core areas: initiating and building new client relationships through targeted business development and strengthening existing partnerships by ensuring our solutions continue to support their evolving priorities.

 

Your goal will be to embed MSCI’s indexes at the heart of your clients’ investment strategies, fostering long-term, strategic relationships and contributing to the continued growth of MSCI’s presence in the asset owner space.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve targeted goals, to establish new client relationships and win new clients
  • Relationship management with existing clients, building a deep understanding of client goals to ensure the new indexes align with clients needs.
  • Identification of up-selling and cross-product selling potential and play a key role in renewal management with account specific retention strategies.
  • Position all MSCI Index products and MSCI research with key stakeholders including clients such as the Strategy teams, Head of Equities and CIO office personnel.
  • Gain a deep understanding of MSCI’s index construction methodologies and answer detailed client inquiries about MSCI products.
  • Monitor the performance of existing MSCI custom indexes to ensure they continue to meet client investment objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding account visits, client conversations, etc.
  • Pro-actively solicit client feedback regarding new initiatives and future product development
  • Provide feedback from clients to Management, Research and Product Development

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 7+ years’ experience in institutional sales and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills with the ability to clearly communicate complicated concepts or methodologies verbally or in writing.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Numerate bachelor’s degree required (Master/CFA would be a plus). Familiar with MS Office
