Your Team Responsibilities

We're seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our AI Team. In this role, you'll develop robust, scalable software systems that support our AI initiatives and data operations. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering skills, experience with large-scale distributed systems, and proficiency in cloud technologies. We prioritize candidates with a track record of building reliable platforms, not just applications, and the ability to deliver multiple successful iterations over time.

While deep AI knowledge isn't required, you should be interested in AI-adjacent projects and eager to learn. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into efficient code. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining software infrastructure supporting our AI platform, ensuring system scalability, performance, and reliability, and collaborating with AI specialists, product managers, and other engineers.

You'll apply best practices in software engineering and system architecture throughout your work.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement scalable distributed systems

2. Architect solutions that can handle large volumes of data for real-time and batch processing

3. Design and develop efficient AI pipelines with automation and reliability across data ingestion, model training, evaluation, and deployment.

4. Apply Generative AI and Agentic frameworks to solve business challenges in data extraction and verification.

5. Develop and Integrate machine learning models in scalable environments

6. Implement mechanisms for data validation and error handling

7. Implement real-time monitoring and alerting for AI systems in production, updating models as required to maintain performance.

8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and and apply cutting-edge techniques to enhance current models and systems

9. Design and optimize backend infrastructure, including database schemas, caching layers to support large-scale AI workloads

10. Work closely with engineers, and domain experts to define project goals, refine AI solutions, and translate research into practical applications.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

1. Experience of building AI products using best practices in software engineering and MLOps

2. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or Go

3. Knowledge of data modeling for big data systems

4. Understanding of batch and streaming technologies for data processing (e.g., Flink, Beam, Spark, Kafka)

5. Experience in applying Generative AI for solving real-world applications like data extraction and content generation.

6. Experience in working with NLP technologies and transformer-based models (e.g., BERT, LLM)

7. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for distributed systems

8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

9. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal

10. Ability to work effectively in a team environment

11. Self-motivated with a passion for learning new technologies
