Your Team Responsibilities

The individual will be part of the Americas Index Products team, which is the team responsible for defining and implementing business strategies in the Americas region across all client segments including pension plans, asset managers, ETF providers, wealth managers, brokers dealers, hedge funds.  The Senior Associate role will be an important contributor to driving the management and execution of the regional strategy by directly supporting one or more specific strategies.  This will involve working closely with the relevant strategy owner(s) as well as working in collaboration with other functions such as Client Coverage, Research & Development, and Marketing.  The role will have a particular focus on driving efficiencies and elevating our ability to make faster and better-informed business decisions by leveraging business intelligence tools and technology. 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on delivering timely and high-quality support as part of the Index Products team 
  • Develop concise materials and processes that are actionable by Coverage as directed by senior leaders and strategy owners within the Index Products team. 
  • The individual will work closely with other Index Products team members as well as internal departments (research, marketing, operations, sales), locally and globally 
  • Build a deeper understanding of our business and products to better identify strategic information and be able to take on more strategic projects 
  • Communicate and collaborate with members of the Index Products team as well as across other teams to identify synergies, process improvement opportunities and share best practices
  • Build a deep understanding of our index business and products to better identify and communicate strategic and relevant information
  • Work on ad-hoc queries that may involve investigating and/or presenting client segment, market or product metrics or trends

Specific Knowledge/Skills 

 

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills and ability to work both independently and across teams
  • High attention to detail 
  • Working knowledge of advanced technology tools and capabilities, such as AI
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills, ability to break down complex issues into smaller manageable parts
  • Outstanding team player 
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work under time constraints
  • General understanding of the investment management process and intellectual curiosity  

 

 

Desired Experience 

 

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience. 
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
