Your Team Responsibilities

Sales for the Wealth Management client segment covering Index based in Sydney.

Reporting to the Head of Sell Side Index Coverage for Australia and New Zealand.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Sales coverage representing MSCI in the Wealth client segments
  • Achieve allocated quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Build a strong understanding of our MSCI products
  • Develop clear sales plans and strong sales pipeline for each allocated industry segment
  • Lead client engagement, needs assessment, and solution pitches
  • High-level contact with clients/prospects and other major industry participants
  • Address client inquiries regarding products and solutions
  • Maintain accurate records regarding client account visits, client conversations, finalized contracts
  • Work seamlessly with other MSCI teams across the APAC region and globe (Client Service, Research, Product Management, Legal, Operations) to solve client requests and needs
  • Collaborate with other sales teams to achieve cross-segment opportunities and synergies
  • Monitor and manage client satisfaction and retention
  • Provide feedback from clients to Marketing, Sales, Research and Product Development groups

  • A commercially minded individual with drive and capacity to manage a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Good understanding of the financial services landscape including active and passive investment strategies
  • Ability to communicate effectively across the organization globally with colleagues across different functions
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
  • Understanding of and in-depth experience dealing with major financial institutions, especially institutional investors, asset managers, banks in Australia
  • Strong understanding of financial markets
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience and minimum of 5 years industry experience
  • Demonstrated success in both individual achievement as well as teamwork
