Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI is seeking an experienced Leadership and Talent Development professional to join our Budapest team. In this high-impact role, you will identify and develop high-potential leaders while designing and delivering programs that enhance leadership and management capabilities to support MSCI's strategic growth objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Talent Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the performance and development of mid- to senior-level leaders (Executive Directors), shaping managerial practices, and accelerating the growth of future senior leaders within the firm.

The Talent Development team operates strategically, leveraging evidence-based practices aligned with MSCI’s data-driven culture and growth ambitions. Exceptional stakeholder engagement is key, including collaboration with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and colleagues who amplify the impact of the team's initiatives. A customer-focused approach to design and delivery is essential for success in this role.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to support the Managing Director pipeline through assessment, development, and career planning.
  • Design and deliver global development programs for Executive Directors, People Managers, and other key talent groups.
  • Develop frameworks, systems, and processes that enhance employee performance and development, aligning efforts with MSCI’s growth objectives.
  • Deploy "in the flow of work" learning initiatives and global virtual learning events, leveraging learning technologies effectively.
  • Provide coaching, 360 and psychometric feedback, and one-on-one career planning support.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve talent development projects and programs.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Expertise in designing and managing leadership and management development programs.
  • Experience providing 360 and psychometric assessment feedback.
  • Strong coaching skills and experience in career and individual development planning.
  • Ability to manage senior leadership pipelines.
  • Proficiency in delivering virtual and in-person learning for managers (essential) and leaders (desirable).
  • Skilled in using evidence and data to influence decisions and evaluate outcomes.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, presentation, and communication skills (fluent in English).
  • Minimum of 5+ years in a learning, talent, or leadership development role within a fast-paced, commercial organization (financial services experience preferred).
  • A degree, postgraduate or professional qualification in Learning/Leadership Development, business psychology, or a related field (desirable)
