Your Team Responsibilities

The Sales Technology Team at MSCI plays a critical role enabling internal teams to manage and execute business processes across the Lead to Order value chain (Lead Management, Opportunity pipeline management and Contract Lifecycle Management), Client Services processes as well as Order to Cash processes (integrations with ERP).

 

We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Pardot Marketing Automation Expert to join our growing Business Technology (BT) team. This role is integral to creating and optimizing marketing automation processes using Pardot, with a focus on seamless integration with Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in both Pardot and Salesforce, enabling the design and execution of strategies that enhance collaboration between the marketing and sales teams, streamline lead management, and drive business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Pardot Implementation & Management:
    • Implement, customize, and maintain Pardot campaigns, forms, landing pages, and email templates to ensure alignment with marketing goals.
    • Design and build automation workflows, lead nurturing programs, and engagement programs that drive conversions and qualified lead generation.
    • Leverage Pardot reporting and analytics tools to measure campaign performance, optimize workflows, and improve customer engagement.
    • Pardot platform administration duties such as user/profile/permissions management, platform hygiene, and environment management
    • Develop, execute and maintain QA and Test Automation strategies for the Pardot environment
  • Salesforce Integration:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define and document technical requirements for Salesforce development projects, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
    • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and Pardot to ensure seamless data flow, including lead syncing, custom field mappings, and data transformations.
    • Create and optimize Salesforce automation such as process builder flows, approval processes, and task automation to improve business efficiency.
    • Manage and enhance lead syncing, lead scoring, and prospect data synchronization between Pardot and Salesforce to ensure high-quality data flow.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies or sync issues between Pardot and Salesforce.
    • Work closely with sales teams to ensure a smooth lead handoff process from marketing to sales.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with marketing, sales, and BT teams to develop strategies that support both marketing and sales objectives.
    • Ensure marketing automation initiatives are aligned with sales needs and workflows, improving the lead management lifecycle and overall customer journey.
    • Provide training and support to the sales and marketing teams on Pardot and Salesforce best practices, processes, and tools.
  • Technical Expertise & Optimization:
    • Conduct regular audits of Pardot and Salesforce setups to ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and adherence to best practices.
    • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline marketing and sales processes and system integrations using Pardot and Salesforce.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage AI within the Pardot/Salesforce ecosystem
    • Continuously stay updated with new Pardot features, Salesforce releases, and industry trends to implement improvements and innovations.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Pardot Developer or Marketing Automation Specialist, with a deep understanding of Pardot's functionality.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce CRM, including setup, customization, and integration with Pardot.
  • Experience in designing and executing marketing automation campaigns that align with sales and marketing objectives.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for customizations in Pardot (email templates, forms, landing pages).
  • Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Pardot’s integration with Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Pardot automation features like lead scoring, drip campaigns, and segmentation.
  • Able to design complex automations using Journey Builder, Mobile Studio and Automation Studio based on business requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, data mapping, and syncing between Pardot and Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights to improve marketing effectiveness and sales outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying issues and resolving technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to train and support non-technical team members on Pardot and Salesforce features and best practices.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification is highly desirable.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications are a plus.
