With the introduction of the EU ESG Ratings Regulation, our climate products must align with these requirements to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance. 

 

We are seeking a Senior Associate – EU Regulatory Compliance Specialist (Climate) to focus on aligning our climate products with the EU ESG Ratings Regulation. This role will serve as the climate team’s specialist in regulatory compliance, coordinating with stakeholders across the organization and contributing to the broader ESG compliance initiative. 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Alignment (ESG Ratings Regulation): 
    Drive the preparation and alignment of our climate-related products to comply with the EU ESG Ratings Regulation, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory standards. 
  • Specialist Expertise in Climate Products: 
    Act as the subject matter expert on climate-specific aspects of the ESG Ratings Regulation, providing guidance and insights to teams across the organization. 
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: 
    Work closely with the broader ESG compliance team, product teams, and research teams to ensure seamless integration of regulatory requirements into workflows and deliverables. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: 
    Serve as the climate team’s liaison to the overall ESG compliance leadership, ensuring consistent communication and alignment of efforts. 
  • Documentation and Reporting: 
    Develop detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with the ESG Ratings Regulation and support internal and external audits. 
  • Regulatory Monitoring and Advisory: 
    Stay updated on developments related to the ESG Ratings Regulation and advise on necessary updates or changes to our processes and products. 
  • Process Improvement: 
    Identify and implement improvements to workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and compliance readiness.

  • Regulatory Expertise 
  • Familiarity with broader ESG regulatory landscapes and sustainability frameworks. 
  • Professional Attributes 
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey regulatory requirements clearly and effectively. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. 
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. 
  • Educational Background 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, sustainability reporting, or related fields, with a focus on climate or ESG topics. 
  • Experience coordinating with diverse stakeholders or working on cross-functional teams. 
  • Technical Skills (Preferred) 
  • Familiarity with climate risk or sustainability metrics and their application in regulatory contexts. 
  • Basic proficiency in data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
