Your Team Responsibilities

The Sales Specialist will be part of a high-performing sales team focused on delivering exceptional value to clients within the Real Assets space. The team collaborates with internal stakeholders, including product specialists and customer success managers, to drive growth, retain clients, and expand the use of MSCI's Real Assets solutions across diverse portfolios.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management:

    • Manage a portfolio of existing US-based clients in the Real Assets sector.
    • Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and align them with our solutions.
    • Ensure retention and growth of the assigned client book by providing exceptional service and insights.
  • New Business Development:

    • Drive business development efforts by identifying and converting new clients to MSCI’s Real Assets solutions.
    • Promote key offerings such as the Real Capital Analytics transactions platform, Climate Value at Risk and Income Tenant Risk platform, and Portfolio Analytics platform.
    • Strategically target potential clients and lead the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Sales Strategy Execution:

    • Execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
    • Utilize market intelligence to identify trends and opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.
    • Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems and provide timely updates to management.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales within the Real Assets, financial services, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of Real Assets solutions, including transactions, climate risk, tenant risk, and portfolio analytics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets in a competitive market.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with Real Capital Analytics, climate-related risk tools, or portfolio analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing and growing a book of clients in the US market.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
