Your Team Responsibilities

Join the dynamic MSCI APAC Marketing team as a Marketing Intern in Tokyo with a focus on event management. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the marketing strategies across the APAC region. The intern will assist the team with a wide range of events and projects to deepen client engagement and generate leads.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the roll out of marketing initiatives in the Japan market.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining marketing materials and collaterals.
  • Help with the English/Japanese translation of marketing content.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze data for marketing performance reports.
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of event plans, including the building of registration page and event invitation.
  • Identify and liaise with different event vendors, including venues, production houses and suppliers.
  • Event onsite coordination – oversee event setup and execution, ensuring all events will run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote events through different channels.
  • Help follow up with post event tracking.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the event space.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing communications.

 

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese (written and spoken), in both daily and business communication contexts.
  • Strong interest in financial markets, Marketing or Event Management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to details and a passion for delivering high-quality events.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in event planning is preferred.
  • A collaborative mindset with a keen interest in learning and contributing to team success.
