Your Team Responsibilities

We build cutting-edge software to identify and analyze the exposure of companies, properties, and financial assets to climate change impact, risks and opportunities. It’s our goal to alert investors of the climate impact and risk profiles of their investments and to tackle climate change at the roots. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Create tools, methodologies, models, metrics, and interactive solutions to evaluate emissions related to investments. Document and validate these models and methodologies.
  • Work on software and data science projects related to climate risks including data analysis, statistical analysis and software development
  • Work closely within a cross functional team (other research team members, industry analysts, technology teams, client facings teams)
  • Communicate work with internal stakeholders as well as clients, support clients with methodology and data questions.
  • Innovate and design solutions to solve investment problems in their sustainability journey.
  • Follow agile development and rapid prototyping techniques. 
  • Anticipate problems/opportunities and adapt to new challenges.
  • Engage with clients to understand investment challenges related to their net-zero journey. Provide support to clients by addressing methodology and data-related queries.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Experience in software development in Python
  • Experience in the fields of climate, environmental modelling, sustainability, data science
  • Strong organization skills, combined with an ability to adapt and reprioritize in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Work experience in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Relevant experience in the fields of climate finance or sustainability finance
  • Familiarity with carbon accounting methodologies (e.g., Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials) and sectoral decarbonization approach (SDA) is desirable.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and demonstrating an exceptional drive towards delivery.
