Your Team Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Technical Client Services Consultant in MSCI Tokyo office. You would be covering all business lines in MSCI including Index, Analytics, ESG & Climate, Real Asset etc. Team members are responsible for responding to a wide variety of technical questions on our line of products and services for our institutional clients in Japan. The team members work closely with sales and consultants to develop and maintain client relationships, on-site client support will be needed if required.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide presales support to local coverage teams
  • Demonstrate key features of the product to prospects and clients
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients
  • Manage incidents and client communication
  • Assist clients in technical migrations, optimizations and API usage
  • Work with Product teams to feedback on client sentiment and usage of products
  • Work cross functionally to assure high quality client experiences in servicing

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

 

  • 5+ years of work experience in relevant industry, i.e. asset management, financial services and/or fintech space
  • Strong technical skills across Scripting, Databases, Operating systems - Java or Python proficiency is essential 
  • Ability to debug and problem solve
  • Native in both Japanese and English communication
  • Outstanding client facing and client management skills
