Your Team Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced Analytics Client Service Manager to join our Client Coverage organization in Mumbai. The MSCI Global Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first tier support for our clients around the world. Team members are responsible for responding to a wide variety of methodology, usage, interpretational, and technical questions on both analytical and benchmark products. Client contact is primarily via telephone and email. Client service team works closely with Sales, Consultants and other internal teams to develop and maintain client relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership and Management
    • Recruit, train, and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
    • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  2. Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated client issues and ensure timely resolution.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Service Delivery and Support
    • Oversee the delivery of analytics support services, ensuring high quality and timely responses.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for client support.
    • Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Product Knowledge and Training
    • Ensure the team is well-versed in the analytics products and can provide expert guidance to clients.
    • Organize training sessions and continuous learning opportunities for the team.
    • Stay updated on product updates and industry trends to provide relevant support.
  5. Reporting and Feedback
    • Generate regular reports on team performance, client satisfaction, and service metrics.
    • Provide regular feedback based on client interactions and experiences.
    • Present insights and recommendations to senior management for service improvements.
  6. Strategic Planning and Improvement
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance client service operations.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
    • Align team goals with overall company objectives and client needs.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts and proposals to senior management.
  • Strong Presentation and report writing skills
  • Execution – well organized and ability to keep a track of team performance using reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Problem solving skills; Technology proficient: Numerical analysis using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in handling escalations and resolving complex issues.
  • People management skills- Experience in managing a large team and overseeing service delivery operations.
  • 12+ years of work experience; previous experience in client service role; preferably in analytics.
  • A numerate Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field; CFA, FRM is a plus
