Your Team Responsibilities

The Time Series team is a highly skilled and motivated group of analysts that solves complex problems regarding all aspects of market data production including data sourcing, processing, loading, etc. The role involves the use of different programming tools and access to cutting-edge technology.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Being a member of a highly skilled and motivated team of analysts that solves complex problems regarding all aspects of market data production.
  • Maintaining, re-engineering and developing efficient and elegant processes to support the daily production of market data.
  • In collaboration with the Research and Development Group, implementing new data packages and analytics to enable clients to properly analyze new or existing financial instruments.
  • Becoming a financial markets expert with regard to interest rates, futures, options, equities and other financial instruments, as well as the use of market data in risk management.
  • Collaborating across a global organization to service our applications as well as internal and external clients.
  • Gaining in depth knowledge of various market data vendors such as Refinitiv, Bloomberg, S&P.
  • Partnering with our coverage organization to service first-rate clientele including many of the world’s central banks, leading financial institutions, hedge funds and corporations.
  • Participate in Agile development projects (content addition, process development, methodology enhancements).
  • Performing any other tasks as assigned by line manager.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Information Technology or a related quantitative field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the financial industry.
  • Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Solid analytical background is desired.
  • Driven by working in an environment that combines finance and technology.
  • Understanding of international financial institutions, global financial markets and investment products.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, large scale data warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python. · Any other type of computer programming experience is preferred.
  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • A self-starter and highly motivated, ability to work individually and within a team.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
