Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI has an immediate need for a Digital Workplace engineer. Responsibilities centre around supporting our Windows 10/11 userbase via the Service Now ticketing platform. You will be responsible for supporting your primary facility but expected to provide desktop support for any regional facility remotely as well. We have teams embedded in 11 facilities globally that support 30+ sites in total. 

Your Key Responsibilities

The role would also be responsible for installing/maintaining office (O365) technologies for our end users, this includes supporting Outlook, Teams, the office suite, remote connectivity, VPN, building laptops/desktops, setting up end user equipment, printers, A/V conference setups, and any other support requirements

· You will be required to work with users when on site, and to also support them remotely when they are working from home.

· This role will also be expected to take part in any number of projects they are called upon.

· This position reports directly into the EMEA Operational Engineering lead.

· This is a relatively flexible position where you will work both from the office and home .

· This role would be responsible for the timely and effective management and prioritization of tickets assigned to them.

· The ideal candidate would be dynamic, motivated, and able to perform independently as well as work in partnership with other teams.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

· A degree relevant to the position itself, ideally: Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

· 5+ years supporting a global Windows desktop environment, advanced troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

· Demonstrated senior knowledge and ability in all aspects of a Windows workstation environment (Windows 10, O365, Azure Active Directory, Teams/Zoom, Intune and modern desktop management, Autopilot, mobile management, Device as a Service, WiFi, VPN, collaboration and conferencing solutions, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), user persona or profiles, asset management via CMDB/AD).

Nice To Have:

· MacOS, Conditional Access Policies, networking services, PowerShell scripting, Digital Experience Monitoring, Windows Virtual Desktop.

· Microsoft or Industry certification and financial industry experience a plus.
