Your Team Responsibilities

As Product Manager (Analyst) within the Index Global Product Management team you will help us in developing and enhancing the commercial framework for new and existing products. You will work with several product managers as well as stakeholders across the organization and around the world. You will learn about global markets, passive investing, and indexes such as Market cap, Factor, ESG, Fixed Income and Thematic.

Your Key Responsibilities

· Collaboration: The Product Management Analyst works alongside senior managers to attain product goals. He/she works within the product management team to support key projects and in determining product vision, positioning, and direction.

· Product Management: The role of Product Management Analyst involves supporting the development of new products and enhancements through the creation of mockups and scope documents,

· Coordination: Engaging with functional teams, especially IT, data operations, and research groups to ensure projects are executed successfully.

· Support Existing Products: The role of the Product Management Analyst includes aiding in the growth of current products and formulating strategies that can enhance the expansion of these existing products.

· Product Launch Support: The Product Management Analyst is responsible for supporting product launch activities, including testing new features in relevant applications; preparing product documentation and drafting FAQs to support client facing teams; and managing communications with clients.

· Support the Client Coverage organization: The Product Management Analyst supports our client facing organization by addressing inquiries about product details; creating user guides and documentation; assisting with client communications; and facilitating regular training for the coverage team.

· Product Lifecycle Management: The Product Management Analyst is responsible for the identification of new opportunities and service improvements.

· Successful candidates will have a background in financial and exhibit an interest in new Product Management. They should have proven ability to cultivate robust collaborations with team members within the company as well as with clients externally.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

· Educational:

Post graduate qualification in Finance (M.Sc./M.B.A./P.G.D.M.)
CFA qualified or pursuing candidates would be preferred.
· Experience:

Background in financial markets, candidates with prior experience of Product Management will be preferred.
Experience between 3-6 years.
· Organizational Skills:

An ideal candidate will have previous marketing or product management experience in a financial services organization, with a strong track record of delivering high quality work on time.
The candidate must also possess an ability to construct clear-cut product requirements and technical documentation on short notice.
· Communication Skills:

The position is one that demands constant interaction with senior product management personnel, other teams, external clients, and partners.
Candidate must possess excellent communication skills in order to be positioned to effectively make regular presentations to senior management.
Candidate must possess excellent people skills, as they will need strong business collaborations with internal stakeholders.
· Analytical Skills:

Analytical skills coupled with strong technical abilities and a genuine passion for new technologies and analytical tools, are a quality an ideal candidate will possess.
· Creativity/Innovation/Pro Active:

Candidate must be creative and innovative in problem solving and the formulation of solutions. Additionally, they should demonstrate great initiative and motivation in approaching their workload as well as in learning new interpersonal and analytical skills.
