Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI is a leading provider of investment decision support tools to clients worldwide, ranging from large pension plans to boutique hedge funds. We offer a range of products and services - including indexes, portfolio risk and performance analytics.

Team is responsible for data quality and maintaining best practices of data management for Climate and ESG data. Cultivating data management best practices and processes that improve the speed and accuracy of data delivery, including data access, quality control, automation, integration and helping setup online Data.

Your Key Responsibilities

· Ability & willingness to understand data, especially related to finance, ESG and climate domain.

· Hands on experience with python programming

· Do exploratory work to identify patterns in data and derive meaningful information to drive business decisions.

· Work with different teams to assess and organize complex data from a variety of sources for modelling/analysis using new generation techniques and technologies.

· Ability to handle parts of project independently or with minimum assistance.

· Keeping stakeholders & management updated regularly on project status and escalate blockers / issues at the earliest.

· Staying updated with latest advancements in financial and technical space to relate the projects with real world scenarios.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

· Hands on Computer programming experience preferably with Python programming

· Ability to perform Data analysis using Python.

· Awareness about Data visualization techniques using graphs, charts either with Python or Reporting tools like Power BI

· Excellent communication skills - Written & verbal.

· Team player, quick learner with inquisitive mindset willing to challenge status quo and bring fresh ideas to the process of solutioning
