Your Team Responsibilities

APAC Inside Sales Associate primary responsibility is to assist our Sales Coverage and Clients covering all client segments in the area. Individuals in an MSCI Inside Sales position are responsible for supporting/facilitating the sales process and educating clients/prospects on MSCI products.The Inside Sales plays a key role in in supporting the team of Sales Specialist in their Sales efforts.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-sales activities, process management and post-sales client maintenance
  • Prioritize demands from Sales coverage and coordinating with the other departments such as Legal, Sales Operations, Client Service, Product and Finance to ensure timely execution
  • Preparing Account review reports, renewals, analyses. This might include pro-actively seeking support and data internally
  • Creation, finalization, and processing of the contracts following the arrangement of the delivery and permission of the data to the clients.
  • Pre-sales: Review of Account and assist Sales coverage to the data they need
  • Identification of unlicensed deals and coordinate with Sales coverage for prospects
  • Manage the pipeline opportunity
  • Address detailed client inquiries about MSCI products and methodologies if not suitable for Client Service
  • Deep understanding all the required internal systems
  • Provide sample data or analysis to assist a client with any due diligence and help in creating sales campaigns using internal databases and account/business revenue analysis

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Advanced knowledge of basic applications (e.g. MS Office Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Higher communication and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple request/ deals independently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Highly motivated · At least 3 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance or Economics degree preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English is required · Very strong Interest in financial markets and investment products and CFA, FRM would be an advantage
