Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI is offering an excellent opportunity for a Vice President, IT Compliance to join the Index Engineering team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the head of IT Compliance, Global Change Management, IT Production, IT Development, Infrastructure, IT Risk and Business teams and external auditors.

Will be part of a small team to design, implement and operate policies, procedures and processes inside Index Engineering to ensure regulatory compliance. This includes data retention, change management and access management, but could also cover other areas.



You will need to have a strong understanding of application development, IT infrastructure and the processes that are required to ensure that IT processes are properly documented and controlled. You will need to demonstrate that you are comfortable with working in a global, distributed organization, and can work with senior stakeholders and technical staff to define and implement and operate the necessary controls.

Your Key Responsibilities

· Design, document and write IT controls, policies, processes and procedures

· Design, document and run internal IT audits and other operational compliance-related activities

· Work with external auditors to review compliance against controls

· Design and maintain central IT inventories, document libraries and collaboration sites

· Support and execution of central IT processes

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

· CISA, CISM or ISO 27001 certification

· Experience of EU Benchmarking Regulation or IOSCO framework desirable

· Technical knowledge and experience - across application development, IT infrastructure and IT risk

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Proven ability to operate under own initiative

· Proven ability to lead initiatives end-to-end, coordinating others in order to deliver

· Delivery mindset, can understand the demands and deadlines encountered by large business projects

· Strong academic background with graduation in a relevant field
